A golden ale with a thin off white head. In aroma, a smooth grainy malt with light vanilla notes. In mouth, a smooth sweet oily malt with touches of vanilla, a bit crisp and oily. On tap at Festibiere de Gatineau, as Brasse-Riz, May 25 2012.

Smells a bit like vanilla. Itís actually one of the better ones that Iíve tried at the 3 brewers. Florals, something like cinnamon or coriander but I canít really tell. Canít really tell that itís rice, but then again you canít really taste any barley or wheat or anything either. Reminds me of all the rice beers in Japan. Kind of light. On tap at the brewpub.

Enjoyed on tap at The 3 Brewers brewpub in Toronto. A mostly yeasty beer, surprisingly filling. Pours a light orange with a whisp of a head. You can see the carbonation bubbles. Yeasty aroma and taste, in the secondary a sake-like rice flavour. Perhaps the same yeast as well? Above average mouth feel. Carbonation is right there. Spices are distant and not distinct. A trace of lace. Good drinkability, but again very filling. Recommend only a half pint.
