From Beer notes dated 8/2/08. The board had a special beer on tap, I asked my waitress what it was like. Though her English was mediocre and my French was awful she told me I wouldn’t like this beer. She said, "no one has really liked this". I asked why and she said it was VERY VERY bitter. PERFECT! Upon delivery she could tell it was what i was looking for, BRILLIANT hop aroma. Piney, Citrus, and other wonderful hop smells. Flavors are much the same in the flavor department. A nice intense hop bite up front and bitter finish. This beer was fantastic, right up there with the West Coast IPA! If they have it again ever, get it....it’s fantastic!
