On tap at the brewpub (Toronto, ON). Pours a dark brown to black with reddish highlights and thin tan head. Aroma is sweet and malty with notes of nuts, caramel, some ripe dark fruit, light funk. Flavor is sweet and lightly roasted with notes of nuts, chocolate, light roast. Generally medium body with a weird finish.

(Dégusté avec french tickler au restaurant 3 brasseurs) Biere noire avec un tres beau collet collant. Odeur de vanille, crémeuse, humidité, un peut de café. Gout d’humidité, salé. Une biere décevante.

App.: Pitch black poor, very creamy light brown head.

Aromas: hints of coffee, chocolate, lactose

Palate: Fad, creamy, somewhat velvetty, light bitterness

Flavors: Chocolate malts, toast, lightly salty

Notes: Probably one of the faddest stouts i’ve had the honor to taste, very nice to look at though
