750, capped. Pours a murky dark brown with a dense and fizzy dark tan head that fades. Mild, somewhat dry and stale biscuity nose, a little bit of toasty malt there. Watery medium body with soft carb. Mild toasty biscuity notes and not much else. Not sure if this is just old or maybe seriously mid-positioned in terms of branding.

as a belgian i do find it strange this gets such a "low" score. I should start using terms as being used standard here, but no : just taste it, compare it to all your best ones & this ones rhymes with all of ’em. A top brew.

Bottle at Den Tatoverede Enke. High lasting creamy light brown head. Very dark brown body. Roasted malt caramel aroma with dried fruits and spicy notes. Rather sweet roasted malt caramel dried fruit coccoa flavor with spicy notes. High carbonation, long sweet finish.

Gekocht in Balleux. Een biertje met een uitgesproken smaak, heel lekker om eens uit te proberen.

The brown counterpart of Lupulus, but much harder to find (I got a few bottles at the brewery, unlabelled). Off-white, creamy, sticky head over a very dark bronze beer with ruby hue. Aroma of toasted bread, dried fruits, orange peel, cocoa powder, spicy hops, liquorice. Candied fruits, rounded maltiness, caramelly, low carbo resulting in a somewhat ’flat’ mouthfeel, lightly toasted, grassy hops in the finish with a bit of sticky candi sweetness.
