Bottle from Dranken Verheyen in Poppel. The beer is dark brown colored and pours a stable cream colored head, with livingly CO2. The aroma is roasted malts/bread, fruitiness of dark (dried) fruits, caramel, spices and a small hint of cacao. The taste is malty, a little fruity and spciy and in the background a little sweetness. The finish is light bitter which tones of hops. A little too hoppy for a brune beer, but actually quiet good.

Aroma of malt, caramel, candy sugar, dried dark fruits, nuts, spicy notes, raisins. Flavour is sweet with a light bittersweet finish. A bit too sugary to be a true winner, but I loved the fruity notes.

Bottle, 75cL. Home. A dark brown opaque beer with light brown hues at the bottom of my glass ; big off-white foamy head ; average retention ; good lacing. Toffee roasty aroma, nut, raisin, biscuit. Medium sweet, light bitter ; well-balanced. Medium body, silky texture, average carbonation, sweet lasting finish ; biscuit notes. Overall, delicious beer ; fantastic liquid cake.

Tap at some Belgian Beer bar in Lyon: Pours brown with a white head. Aroma is fruit and sugar. Taste is rather sweet and rather malty. This ain’t the most complex BSA I ever had, but was pleasant.

Bottle. Hazy brown, tan head. Sweet fruity notes and some hard toffee in aroma with additional notes of some spicyness. Sweetish and quite grainy in taste, some fruityness too. Some bitterness appears towards the end. Later on some more fruiter notes steps up, bit of citrus even there.
