Bottle @ DØE meeting. Pours hazy light golden with a white head. Aroma of hops, grapefriut and pine, tart fruit. Taste is much like aroma, hoppy but with a good malt base to balance it. Medium body, low carbonation. Nice and refreshing beer. 190111

Bottled 750ml. -Hazy yellow/orange coloured, medium sized creamy white head, pleasant acidic lemony nose. Sweet malty, acidic agrumey and fine hoppy with notes of spices and orange peel. Bitter spicy finish. Alcohol is discreet. Very nice belgian ale.

Marko (3613) - Split, CROATIA - JAN 23, 2011
0.75l bottle that ogivlado, heavy and me got from the Beershop in Zagreb. Love the label!
Poured a murky but shiny ochre body, with a big lasting thick whtie head, quite great. Agrumey fine sweet nose, slightly creamy. Fine sweet agrumey and grainy dry taste, light bitter hopiness, not as much as expected, but quite balanced with the maltiness. Chalky, aromatic, Very well rounded, slightly too subdued but a pleasant experience. Couple that with excellent drinkablity and the alcohol volume, this is a great Belgian.

vicolomarte (4) - ITALY - JAN 6, 2011 does not count

A golden ale with a thin white head. In aroma, sweet creamy coriander, light oxidation notes. In mouth, a smooth candy sugar with light notes of belgian hops, light maderization, medium bodied. 750 ml bottle at l’Autre Oeil shared with Sammy, Radek and Probstk, Nov. 11 2010.

Alla spina al BQ (MI); Buona ale, speziatina e luppolata generosamente, me l’aspettavo più amara però

DruncanVeasey (6116) - NUNEATON, Blue Square Premier, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - NOV 19, 2010
750ml bottle. Effervescent yellow-gold with a fine, persistent white collar and a veil of sediment, however you pour it. Bright, unusually accented hop aroma; jellied orange accompanied a more pungent, leafy grapefruit streak, lime, hints of US floweriness (Amarillo, Cascade?) and a good pale biscuity malt base. Bright, zesty hops with a generous shaving of lemon and tangerine skin; marmalade on white honeyed toast, crisp fresh bread and cashew finish with a beautifully drinkable saison-like lightness of touch and not a hint of booze. Fresh, pithy hop character balanced with creamy malt and Belgian condition. Excellent.

probstblueribbon (2378) - Nepean, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 14, 2010
750 ml bottle shared with beer geeks at L’Autre Oeil, served fairly cold in a goblet. 11NO10.

App.: Very cloudy straw with a small white head. Aroma: Nice fresh hops, lemony coriander, clean minerals, esters, some Saison character, nice. Palate: Medium body, soft effervescence. Flav.: Triple + Saison + nice leafy hops, lemony, coriander, peppery, honey, nice.

Good stuff!
