341 ml bottle, courtesy of my brother - pours a clear copper with a dense off-white head that soon diminishes to a thin layer, but leaves good lace. Some spiciness in the aroma - coriander, some lemony hints, and a faint metallic edge. Also, a light sourness is present (which is in the flavour as well) which is nice. Certainly has a more distinctly earthy grain base than most wheats I’ve had, but it’s nice. The buckwheat is noticeably different than a typical wheat. Nice beer overall - nothing I’d go out of my way for, but if available locally, I would get it again.

Feb 8, 2008 Bouteille 341 ml. Couleur orange brulé. Mousse présente au début mais qui s’estompe rapidement. Au nez des arômes floraux, d’épices et de levure se font sentir. En bouche la bière est moyennement ronde, caramélisée et floral.

Jan 9, 2008 341 mL bottle. Amber with a small beige head. The aroma is sweet, with malt (buckwheat?) and a little spice. The flavour is mild, with caramel, fruit, and a nice underlying bitterness. Body is fairly thin. Not bad, but not really worth another visit.

Dec 30, 2007 Slightly cloudy golden poor with a small off-white head. Aromas of caramel, puffed wheat, pine. Very crisp fresh taste. Medium body with a nice bitter mouthfeel, slightly sweet. Flavors are mostly the same as the aromas (added sesame seeds), nothing spectacular, but i am very pleased.

belle étiquette, cette bière a une belle couleur ambrée, elle a un nez discret mais agéable, on dirait une bière au malt fumé, comme un scotch, goût léger et très agréable de sarrasin,
