Commercial Description:
Very constant, very aromatic blonde with the dominant ones of the raw material (corn grain not malted) and notes of bread, brioche and banana. Excellent with a good soft cheddar or a Brie.

bouteille brune de 341ml. bière de couleur blé, très claire, l’étiquette annonce une mousse compacte et durable, rien de tel mousse compacte au versage mais elle avait disparue très rapidement. nez malté, léger goût épice agréable, légère amertume. passable.

Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy pale gold with an average size mostly-lasting white head. Somewhat unpleasant aroma of stinky grain along with some sugary sweetness, fruit and...I don’t know, I don’t like it. Flavour’s better, not great but better, and consists of grain, sweet malt, fruit, light hops and has a light bitter finish. Average bodied. Just O.K.

Douce, aucun arrière-goût. Effervescente, reste longtemps en bouche. Aucune mousse.

Bottle (341ml) Slightly hazy gold with no head at all. Aroma is sweet and malty, some hidden fruit and spices notes and even something that reminds me of a barn. Taste is pretty crisp, malty and grainy with some hops. I wouldn’t describe it as a belgian ale though, but it is a pretty refreshing yet interesting blond ale.

Bottle (341ml). Slightly hazy gold, fluffy white head. Aroma vaguely like a wit - dry, sugary malt, very mild spice and yeast, a hint of lemon tartness. Taste is oddly herbal - the spice and light lemon are overpowered by a slight hop funk, but it has nice sweet malt and yeast character, and the wit-like banana emerges as it opens. Light bodied yet nicely sryupy - soft mouthfeel, not much carbonation, but feels nice on the tongue and has no aftertaste - quite decent!
