A Mes rate:
50cl bottle at Chris O’s Shindig. Reasonably attractive dark brown colour with a slight off white head. Sweet malt aroma, fairly dull. Heavy caramel flavour, more malt and some light chocolate notes. Late bitter / sour note makes it pleasing to drink.

bottle from Calais Vins. Hazy brown colour, mid-sized beige head. Very mils, with hints of chocolate and roasted malts, also raisins and dates. Very very shy hopps finish.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Rastacouere (6041) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - DEC 3, 2007
Burgundy reflections come across the dark brown body. Fair off-white head lasts atop it all. Earthy, caramelly and sugary nose hides a metallic component that becomes more obvious in mouth where the maltiness takes an interesting date-like twist. Rather expanding carbonation feels airy. Sweet and filling flavours with a definite liquorice reminding trait.

Bottle at Chris_o’s "smash Kook’s granny tasting". Alround rating: Darker sweet sugary malt, belgian fruity esters off the yeast, far too sweet and over carbonated.

Bottle. Sweet, lightly caramelly start, slightly grainy mouthfeel. Some light yeastyness, and quite soft in the mouth. NOt a whole lot happening, but seems quite clean and pleasant.
