Dégusté avec Viak, Mario D’Eer, Philippe wouters et Alain Geffroy après avoir enfûté la bière nous même à 16h30 jeudi le 28 mai 2009. Dégusté dans un petit verre de dégustation après un service gratuit dans un pichet commun. Difficile de pouvoir donner une note juste car le plaisir et l’expérience de la discussion était très agréable. Une autre évaluation sera faite de ma part lors d’une prochaine visite. Par contre, nous avons trouver un goût de banane, mangue et d’avocat. Je me répète à défaut de mal évaluer cette bière, je préfère divulguer l’expérience vécu du moment dans un endroit des plus charmant. De plus, l’évaluer après une péché mortel ne me semble pas juste......Ce n’est qu’une partie remise!

Hazy yellow. Sweet and banana aroma. Soft and lightly spicy. Not as sweet as it smells. Ok

Draft at brewpub. Hazy yellow. Witbier aroma has coriander, yeast, and flowers. Soft and yeasty. Good ripe meaty fruit and nice malt character beneath. Pretty good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Sample tray. Cloudy yellow. Strong aroma of banana and yeast. Flavour is not as strong as aroma. Soft body. Banana note and a bit of a yeast finish.

A bright yellow pour that is quite hazy, with a frothy white foam. Nose is a lot of banana, a bit of spice and floral notes, pear, some yeast. But it is really strong in the banana category. Flavour is sweet banana and bubblegum, some yeast and oranges with a bit of pear. Nice and creamy mouth feel, perhaps a bit too sweet but still quite good.

Sample from brewpub. Pale hazy yellow with a fluffy and effervescent white head. Banana, clove, some spice, some yeast, very refreshing. Little light and plain, nice carbonation, ok body, some fruit and dryness on the finish, overall a bit sweet.

Aroma: bready , soft aromatic nose, plenty of esters floating around. Clean and straight.
Appearance: hazed amber gold with mid white top. Sparse lace.
Body/Flavour/Palate: Medium light bodied. Grainy with frontal tartness. Soft top. Slight bitterness finishing. Proper.

on tap at brewpub. golden with a minimal haze, small white head. cereals, wheat, lemon notes. taste is about the same, along with some spices, light bubblegum. light herbal-citrusy hopping. somewhat lacks a little in wheat for the body/taste. average carbonation. still more than decent.

En fût au BDT. 5%. Couleur jaune voilée, mousse blanche. Arôme de fruits jaunes, poires et banane. Céréales en bouche, fruits. Bonne.

A bit of an unremarkable weizen, albeit still strong enough for an ok rating. Heavy carbonation, good creamy mouthfeel. Big banana notes.

[on tap at brewpub] Creamy coriander aroma with some ginger and a touch of sourness from wheat. Hazy, dark yellow under a thin, white cover. Sour-ish flavour with some ethanol that comes together with bitterness. Coriander accent. Slightly dry, bitter finish, light body, moderate carbonation.
