Pours a cloudy yellow with a thin white head that leaves some lacing. Nose is of pepper, spices over a lightly fruity base. Taste is of fruits and more spices, moderately bitter and not too sweet. Body is medium and carbonation moderately low. Overall a good belgian ale, but an IPA? It lacks a little punch in the nose and flavors department for me to classify it as one.

Hazzy, light orange with a thin off-white head. Pepper, acid citrus, light banana bread and belgian yeast spice. Bitter taste with a citrus/pine finish. Medium body, a little thin with alively carbonation.

341ml Bottle. foamy hazy golden/beige color. smell is belgian yeast, Hop and vanilla. wow! belgian IPA is right! very hoppy but not too bitter, dry yeasty finish! not very carbonated and the palate is medium. you can feel pepper notes in the aftertaste. I like that kind of mix! nice blend!

This Belgian IPA-style beer is hazy golden with a frothy warm cap, good retention and some bubbly-creamy lace. Fresh hop nose with light citrus, Belgian Ale yeast vanilla and spices. Citrus taste with light grass, slightly metallic, with the yeast in the finish. I guess this use to be a Belgian Blonde, but now says Belgian IPA. Weird how this changed, but the name stayed the same. A nice blend between a Belgian Ale and an IPA.

Bottle 341ml. Pours golden with low-medium white head. Good lacing. Aroma is of spices, pepper, tangerines, citrus, belgian yeast. Taste is of pepper, spices, bitterness, belgian yeast, citrus. Palate: Medium body. Medium carbonation. Overall: Drinkable. Tasty. The yeast action is just right. Interesting balance. This is a good recipe.

Another beer from the sampler pack. Pour is hazy gold with a foamy white cap, very similar to their Bouillon de la Chaudiere but with slightly better retention/lacing. Nose is all fresh citrus and flowers at first, then bits of bread dough and banana emerge. Taste is slightly fruity up front with lots of crisp citrus and pepper on the back end. Lingering bitter/lemony finish. Body is medium, mouthfeel slick and a bit oily, with fairly high carbonation. Another nice offering from this new collaboration between BDT and BDN.
