For the hop lover in you, this 100 IBU beer uses Columbus and Amarillo hops which exude explosive aromas of citrus, cherry, oak and rose water. Sweetness mingles with alcohol and hops in a lenghty aftertaste.

Pours a hazy golden hue topped with a bubbly and spotty whitish head; strings of thin lacing here and there around the glass. Fresh and crisp aroma of piney, resinous hops and sharp grapefruit notes. In the mouth, prominent yet not overpowering bitterness up front is curbed slightly through sweet caramel malts; finishes abruptly with a lingering herbal quality and mild alcoholic heat. Carbonation on the low side, and allows the hops more room for expression, although lends a mouth-feel that is a little too thin for my taste. All in all, this makes me happy.

Pours a thick and cloudy reddish-orange with a thick, off-white head. On the nose is grapefruit, orange, oak, and resinous hops. Taste is fruity and malty up front with some nice herbal and citral hops featuring orange liqueur, caramel, grapefruit, pine and some oak. Very, very sweet and sticky. Finish is long and slightly bitter leaving orange lollipops and grapefruit peel. Not as bitter as one would expect, but that’s okay. Becomes a little cloying after a while, so it’s a brew best shared.

Bottle shared by toffsbury. Murky light brown pour. Grassy hop aroma with some peppery spiciness. Big spicy hoppy taste; with a bitter finish. Pretty good.

Pours a murky light brown with a thick bubbly head. Aroma is all grassy hops. Somehow I taste chocolate, with a fair bit of pepper. Nice flavour. A bit of sweetness, not as completely balanced by the hops as I might expect in an Imperial IPA. Nice medium-to-full body, rich-tasting and round on the palate. Nice, but not quite worth the price I paid.

Red amber with a large creamy white head. Aroma is tropical fruits, resin, and caramel. Medium body with soft carbonation. Taste fruit cake with a soft but lasting bitterness.

Fut @ Broue Pub Brouhaha. Blonde ambree. Nez de resine et une pointe savonneuse. En bouche: malt, conifere et encore un cote savonneux... L’alcool ne se ressent pas. J’aurais voulu plus d’amertume.

Purchased at my local Métro store (among others from this brewery available - all at once). Pours a cloudy golden-amber colour with a soapy off-white head that has great retention and lacing. The nose is really nice with fresh hop, that is not overpowering, with hints of caramel hidden behind. Real smooth mouthfeel with no burning at all, and almost no warming. Not as bitter as one would think (judging from the scent) but a nice little dry mouth with hop and some mild sugars appear in the aftertaste to balance everything. Almost like mild maple syrup lingering. Quite a nice Imperial IPA that is really too easy to drink.

750ml bottle. Cloudy orange pour with a thin light tan head. Aroma is grassy, citrus, lots of pine resin. Some caramel sneaking in there too. Flavor is bitter, slightly sweet, pine resin, a bit hot on the back end. Not bad.
