Hazy amber. The aroma is yeasty and phenolic w some light hop earthiness. Taste is sweetish but w nice gentle hop bitterness and a fairly yeasty finish.

Sample tray. Amber. Strong spicy scent. Scent translates into nice strong hopped flavour with a citrus finish.

On draught at BDT. Slightly hazy orange with a large fluffy off-white lasting head. Lovely aroma - borderline 8/10 - cereal grain, floral bitterness, terrific balance, no real alcohol presence. Taste follows, more bitterness, quite fresh. Chewy, solid mouthfeel, delicate carbonation, medium long slightly earthy/grainy dry finish. Damned good ESB! ---Rated via Beer BADASS for iPhone

My Bottom Line :
BIscuity cereals and their fine sweetness are spruced up by orange tea-like hops and their bitterness in this pleasurable Extra Special Bitter.

Further Personal Perceptions :
-A slice of foam clings to the misty honey gold.
-Carbonation is prickly, yet not too intense. Still, this is the type of carbonation I believe to showcase such subtle flavors.
-The flavor profile is tame, which increases drinkability.
-This brew has more depth than their Mille Neuf Cendre smoked ale, for example, but both achieve the same goal of providing a friendly pint.

On tap at the brewpub.

(draught) at the brewpub. English malt, minor melon and soft hopped. Tasty and quaffable. Solid ESB. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Poured a light amber color ale with a medium foamy head with OK retention and no lacing. Aroma consists of caramel malt with light dry hoppy notes. Taste is also dominated by light dry caramel notes with light subtle dry hops finish. Body is about average with good carbonation. Not the most interesting style in my opinion but well brewed nonetheless.

Sample from brewpub. Hazy light amber with white creamy head. Honey, light malt, light fruity hops bit of metal. Average body, good carbonation, slightly sweet but a good bitter finish with a good dryness. Might need to give this one another chance to see if the metallic and sulphur disappear.

Pours a slightly dark golden yellow with a nice frothy white head. Aroma is light hop and malt. Taste is slightly bitter, nice hop balance with malt. Something I could easily drink multiples of.

Of all the beers I’ve tried at the brewpub, this one impressed me the least. Still a solid beer, just an unremarkable version of an ESB. A bit of caramel malt backing, and there was a bitter touch at the end, just not as big a punch poverall as I would have liked.
