3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
[on tap at brewpub]
Diacetyl butterscotch aroma with some UK hops and caramel. Almost clear dark bronze under a thin, white cover. Strong diacetyl butter flavour with caramel and a bold bitterness ending with toffee. Light to medium body, moderately bitter finish that is buttery.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
12 oz at the brewpub. Very murky brown-deep copper with a thick, creamy light tan head. Quite sweet, grainy, fruity, a little raw grain, light berries, a bit peppery, a touch of tang, decent if a little...unfinished? Medium body, relaxed eff. with a few prickly bubbles. Fruity, estery, yeast, tastes a bit rushed to me, decent malts, some rye character, still seems unfinished; dry with good bitterness and a nice toast crust and toffee finish.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a reddish brown with a frothy white head. Aroma is sweet malt, small hop aroma and a slight spice. Taste is a tangy mixture of malt and hop. Quite nice but not as awesome as some of their other beers.
