Commercial Description:
Rich caramel colour. Its aroma evokes red ripe apples. In mouth, the acidulated apples notes marries well with the sweetness of the caramel malt. A cider-like is tasted in finale, alongside cereals.

Draught at the brewpub. Pours a hazy gold with a small frothy off-white head. Mild aroma of apples.Slightly watery flavour of lightly tart apples backed by malt. Average bodied. A pleasant enough Fruit Beer.

My Bottom Line:
Sweet apple must develops decent tartness around straightforward cereal flavors for this uncompelling but pleasantly fruity brew.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A ring of foam surrounds the cloudy amber.
-This has more body than hard cider, but the flavor profile remains quite similar.
-If carbonation were increased a bit, this would be a welcome replacement to any session cider available in the province.
-This is not my kind of brew, but I can appreciate the fact that it is well rendered and they can probably reach a new clientele with the novelty factor.

On tap at the brewpub.

2009-11-17. Hazy cider amber body with a small beige head. 3+ Fruity aroma, both ale fruitiness and fresh fruity apples. 7+ Flavour is crisp, fresh apples with mild malt base below. Touch of Granny Smith like notes, other lightly acidic apple characteristics. 7+ Average palate suits it. Refreshing, quite drinkable. It is probably a bit too cidery/appley for some, but I found it very enjoyable. On tap at the brewpub

Draught. At the brewpub. Slightly hazy gold with an average creamy white head. Light aroma of slightly musty apples and vague white-wine - quite cidery. The taste is of tart apples mixed with a very young, light white wine (chablis), but not boozy at all - light and still mouthfeel, the acidity emerges in the linger ... I liked it, I would love to see them add some mulling spices to this for a flavour kick.

On tap at the brewpub. Very cloudy golden/beige (almost looks like Bailey’s) body with a thin beige creamy head. Nice malty/hoppy aroma with apple and flowery hints. Fresh taste that carries apple notes. Ends with a fair bittersweet finish. Enjoyable and refreshing.

A hazy amber ale with a thin off white head. A sweet chaly aroma overlayed with apple pulp notes. In mouth, a rather mineral sweet ale with sourish granny smith apples. strong chalky notes, a bit light bodied. On tap at brewpub, Oct. 18 2009.
