Nice saison. Definitely taste the cardamom here, with some of the thyme and spices, even pepper and lemon. Finishes a little sour. Pours orange with decent head and lacing. Comes together well and makes for an interesting drink. Tap at brewpub.

On tap @ Le Cactus (Québec). Hazy (almost murky) reddish amber with a small beige head and some lacing. Aroma is of a fruit bowl, Saison yeast and spices. Taste is also really fruity with yeast, spices and a nice warming alcohol finish. Medium to full body. Moderate carbonation. Slightly oily. Dry. Interesting take on a Saison. A tad heavy.

June 17, 2013 - on draught at the brewpub. When I had it they listed it at 8.5% but I think that was a misprint, tasted more like 6%. Love refractive slightly hazy ruby/amber with a smallish creamy off-white head. Aroma is light - spice, tree fruit, moderate alcohol - quite mellow, light roast malt. Taste follows but more defined - a little sweet, but quite spicy, restrained alcohol, lushly yeasty and balanced. Average body, weak carbonation, quick spicy sweet finish, hints of Christmas cookies and candied fruit in the linger. Nice - but you have to like it a bit sweet, rather than spicy and dry like many saisons.

Enjoyed at the pub itself. Pours a cloudy amber colour with an off-white head that is creamy and leaves decent lacing. Fruity (raisins) nose with hints of mint, spices (cardamon maybe?) and Belgian yeast. Medium-bodied with a mild dry finish. The taste is the same as the aromas, but harder to taste the mint. It refreshes things though. Quite interesting overall, reminding me of Unibroue Édition 2004 (which I loved).

Bû directement chez Les BDT. Jouissive, dresse le poil sur la peau. Une bière d’été, très floral. Ma meilleure de BDT.

Hazy amber. Lots of cardamom and ginger on the nose. Palate has ginger, vanilla sugar, alcohol and light spiciness. A lot of bitterness from the spices in the finish.

Draft at brewpub. Amber, the color of a biere du garde. Herbal aroma of ginger and juniper. Soft and mellow. The fun spicing continues. Ginger biscuit, speculaas, cookie malts. Nice one. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap from bdt. Pours cloudy orange little head no lacing. Nose is sweet like vanilla. Up front some sweet then backed by a hop bite. Not sure it fits style. Medium body medium carbonation.

on tap at brewpub. almost clear golden-orange with a frothy white head, good retention. bready, spices - cardamom and ginger, cereals, citrus, light toastiness, some sweetness. leafy grassy-citrusy hops. lively, medium body, nice grassy-citrusy finish. funky, original and good. but as good as the ’’haute’’ saison.
