Bû directement chez Les BDT. Jouissive, dresse le poil sur la peau. Une bière d’été, très floral. Ma meilleure de BDT.

Enjoyed at the pub itself. Pours a cloudy amber colour with an off-white head that is creamy and leaves decent lacing. Fruity (raisins) nose with hints of mint, spices (cardamon maybe?) and Belgian yeast. Medium-bodied with a mild dry finish. The taste is the same as the aromas, but harder to taste the mint. It refreshes things though. Quite interesting overall, reminding me of Unibroue Édition 2004 (which I loved).

on tap at brewpub. almost clear golden-orange with a frothy white head, good retention. bready, spices - cardamom and ginger, cereals, citrus, light toastiness, some sweetness. leafy grassy-citrusy hops. lively, medium body, nice grassy-citrusy finish. funky, original and good. but as good as the ’’haute’’ saison.

Tap from bdt. Pours cloudy orange little head no lacing. Nose is sweet like vanilla. Up front some sweet then backed by a hop bite. Not sure it fits style. Medium body medium carbonation.

A hazed dark amber saison with a thin white nice. In aroma, a smooth grassy malt with curacao, smooth fruity esters, very nice. In mouth, herbaceous malt, curacao, smooth herbal hops, sustained bitterness, very nice. Tasted at Bières des Neiges et Vins d’Hiver, Fev. 17 2012.

Pours a dark golden with a big frothy white top. Aroma is grain, slight floral and bread. Taste is bright, grain, slight bread hop. Overall pretty good but I still prefer the Haute. At the 2012 Winterlude Winter Beer and Wine.

On tap at the brewpub. Dark amber body with ruby glints and a thin off-white foamy/creamy head. Well balanced malty/hoppy aroma with spicy hints. Alcohol is well hidden. Taste carries ginger, spicy and some subtle citrusy notes. Ends with a dry bitter/herbal finish. Well done.

Sample tray. Copper coloured. Mint and jasmin scent. Darker than most with unusual caramel scent at the front and mint tea blend in the finish. Unique.
