UPDATED: SEP 11, 2013 Bouteille 750ml.

Bottle from Secret Santa. Deep golden color. Peppery hops and dried tropical fruit in the aroma and flavor. Fizzy mouthfeel. Estery with vennel, nutmeg and ginger. Marmelade finish.

Sample on tap at Bières et saveurs (Chambly). Pours cloudy amber with creamy white head. Nice lacing. Aroma and favour: roasted malt, fruits, hops, slight acidity. Good bitterness with malty finish. Great balance. Full bodied. On style.

Purchased a 750ml bottle of this at my local Métro store. Pours a hazy golden colour with an amber hue. Big bubbly-creamy white head that stays long and gives out beautiful lacing. Alcohol aromas with orange and hints of other citrus fruits. Hints of yeast with some spices. Thankfully, the alcohol is not in the mouth. Kind of a mild mouthfeel, just carbonated. Quite easy to drink actually, with a mild taste. Citrus fruits, spices and the hop giving this a nice bitterness (and dryness). The alcohol does disappear after breathing a bit. A nice one, but I prefered their "La saison basse".

Consommée directement chez Les brasseurs du temps. En fut. Cette bière de saison est complexe. Sublime bière. Forte effervescence.

750 ml bottle. Pours a foggy yellow orange with a persistent white head. Smells peppery. Taste is spicy, peppers, with a weak lemon bitter finish. Body is light-average. Refreshing. An alright saison, no more.

750mL bottle from the brewery. Pours a hazy golden orange with lots of creamy white head that dissipates slowly. Smell is a bit weak but features predominantly hops with a little bit of barnyard funk. Palate is good with medium body and a bit of an oily feel that coats the tongue and moderate carbonation. Taste is a bit strange, it’s like a sour IPA. Lots of hoppy bitterness but also a bit of sourness that doesn’t quite get strong enough. Good, but could be better.

750mL bottle from Broue Ha Ha. Cloudy golden appearance with a huge frothy white head. Nice aroma of citrus and peppery spice. Dry/bitter grapefruit taste with some spice, some mustiness and alcohol near the end, and finally a bitter finish. Lots of carbonation (hence the huge head). Nice.
