Bottle: Poured a deep clear brown color alt with a medium foamy head with OK retention and minimal lacing. Aroma of grainy malt with a lightly dry finish and yeast notes similar to the classic Alt taste. Taste is also a mix between some unrefined grain notes and a dry lightly hoppy finish. Average body with good carbonation. Nothing earth shattering from a style that I enjoy more or less but that I have rarely the chance to try.

Jun 10, 2008 750ml bottle, and it’s from the 2008 release. Very dark pour, very very dark. When i hold it up to the light i can see through the very nice dark mahaogany. There is a nice beige head, and some good lacing. Aroma is loaded with bready malt, and some nice smokiness, and a good dose of hops. The flavour is very nice, lots of chewy malts, and a good dose of hops, there is some nice hop spiciness, and the finish is quite bitter, it leaves a nice hoppy tatse in my mouth.Wow, i’m loving this!

May 25, 2008 (Dégusté avec french tickler) Biere de couleur rousseavec un mince collet moindrement collant. Odeur de miel, caramel et de blé. Gout d’humidité, miel , un gout resemblant au sel et un peu poivré.

May 7, 2008 Bouteille de 750 ml. La bière se présente avec une robe rougeâtre et une mousse beige imposante. Aunez on découvre des arômes de gâteau aux fruits, de caramel, de grains torréfiés, de houblon floral et de sucre brun. En bouche la bière a un corps mince-moyen et nous révèles desflaveurs florales, caramélisées,herbeuses, terreuses et houblonnées. La finale est assez amère et s’étalle longtemps.

May 4, 2008 Bottle 750 ml. 2008 edition. Amber color, medium white head. Really malty and hoppy aroma. Taste is mainly composed of dark fruits, caramel and roasted malt. Medium bitterness. Not bad.
