mcberko (9200) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 17, 2011
341mL bottle, pours hazy golden with a small head. Fairly underwhelming aroma of wheat, grass and citrus. Flavour brings a puckering citrus flavour upfront, with weaker hints of wheat and grass. Not too impressive.

341ml bottle. pours cloudy yellow straw, minor white head. Spicy aromas, floral, rose, grain, wood, smoke and nuts with a touch of yeast and hop zestiness. Light-medium body, medium carbonation, touch of caramel in there, a touch of tartness on the palate - finish near dry-sour.

Fresh bottle. Refreshing if not exceptional hefe. Yeast and bannana aroma. Unfiltered banana with lasting 3/16 inch of head, and lace lining as I drink it from my Sam Adams glass. Above average mouthfeel, boosted by above average carbonation (unnecessary). The taste is more musty than fruity, but decent drinkability.

Barely any head and a slightly septic looking orange body. Soft aroma of wheat, and wheat only, which is a good thing. Taste is grass and chocolate mousse, vegetables. A very good range of flavours for a wheat; well done.

DerWeg (1551) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 15, 2010
Unexciting look of pale fogy orange-yellow. Cap white. Aroma is yeasty and dry. Taste is a bit better with some oomph of wheat malt and vanilla and fruit. Dry finish has hint of spice. Actually less exciting than the pale lager they make! I finish the 341 ml bottle and it does its job, to mainly just quench.

rederic (3207) - montréal, Quebec, CANADA - OCT 8, 2010
Cloudy honey gold hue, with a thick pillowy white head, nice wheat malt nose with a faint of banana purée, and with a sulfuric, light ashen accent distinct of certain weizen, with some yeasty esters of faint citrus in the aroma follows through with a meduim-bodied palate with a smooth earthy wheat, pale malt character with a hint of honey sweetness, with some yeasty, fruity notes of ripe apple and banana, with a mild lactic milkyish mouthfeel and subtle ashen undertone, leading towards a yeasty, faint fruity, wheaten, milky finish.

Bouteille 341 ml. 5%. Couleur jaune pâle brouillée, mousse blanche. Nez de bananes, poires et blé. En bouche, fraîche et notes légères d’agrumes et banane. Très légère amertume en finale.

Lubiere (10997) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 25, 2010
A hazy blonde weizen with a thick frothy white head. Aroma is rather musty and lemony. In mouth, a smooth sweetish malt with light notes of honey and fruity esters, residual spiceyness. Not bad, but not like the Denison’s.

SlovakSniper (3813) - Candiac, Quebec, CANADA - JUN 29, 2010
