Lubiere (3408), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada Oct 11, 2004 Gold lager with a light malt aroma with some hops. Intense saaz hops , resinous with crisp malt . Extremely fresh. A great lager!
Thanks Chris! pootzboy (900), Calgary/ Kitchener, Alberta, Canada Dec 11, 2005 Bottled: poured a hazey honey-gold color. Active carbonation and a modest cap that laces well enough. Aromas of fresh milled toasty malts and a slight wisp of cider and herbs. Peppery mouth feel medium light bodied. Malty up front then a fruity acidic decernment from yeast and hops, clean fresh finish slight after taste of bread. A very decent pislsner in the German style...propbably will be over looked or buried in the flood of pilsners on the market, too bad this is a good all malt rendition of the style.

Tout doux en équilibre entre le malt et l’amertume.
Présence de quelques flocons dans la bouteille alors que la date d’embouteillage indique 5 mois d’âge. Rastacouere (5418), Montréal, Quebec, Canada Sep 15, 2004 Updated: Oct 8, 2006Clear and shining yellow. Little to no apparent carbonation. Medium sized white head diminishes a bit fast. Aroma is herbal, saazy with big grainy notes. Dry palate, moderately bitter. Could be much more flavorful, lacks a biscuity and/or toasted malt punch and floral characteristics. Nothing developped yet, but there’s definitely skunk potential unfortunately and this is as fresh as can be. Hoping for better as they acquire brewing in big quantities and bottling experience.

Draught pint: This has improved lately, more pronounced Saazy hoppiness make for a drier palate while the malt remains a little shy to my tastes, but crisp and grainy, cleaner character than before. A fine refreshing lager. OKBeer (1106), Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada Apr 13, 2007 Sample at April 2007 Brewnosers meeting. Toasty, floral, lightly herbal aroma. Toasty, grainy, floral, lightly herbal flavour. Medium bodied, firm but smooth mouthfeel. Decent.
