radiomgb (1781), Peterborough, Ontario, Canada Nov 27, 2008 Clear golden in colour with a thin white coloured head, light lacing. The aroma is alcoholic, wheaty, bready, some pale malts, lightly sweet. The flavour has some bitterness to it, moderately sweet, pale malts, bread, grass with a bit of alcohol. Light mouthfeel, a bit hot, medium body, high carbonation.. Finishes warm, sweet, lingering.

Seems a little sticky at times and the alcohol is a bit out of place. No direction.

Flamojune (56), Québec, Quebec, Canada Sep 4, 2008 Belle blonde forte 8%. L’alcool se fait sentir mais la finale reste agréable. A découvrir. Sammy (3240), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Aug 23, 2008 Palish yellow with a bubbly small head, this bomber could have been a cask beer. And it was from 9 months back, forgot about it. But it showed no worse for wear. A good constrained and dry bitterness, with balance. About medium mouthfeel. I liked this after a hot day. TURDFERGUSON (1179), Carrboro, North Carolina, USA Aug 4, 2008 Bottle shared by someone at the ratebeer table at BCTC. Maybe, mds. Thanks! Pours a golden yellow with a small white lace. Nose and flavor has a slight honey-like sweetness, and a good amount of yeast. Pretty easy drinking but not altogether too exciting. Eructoblaster (1275), Gatineau, Quebec, Canada Jul 20, 2008 Bottle - 750ml. Nice golden body with average carbonation and a thin white frothy head. Strong malty aroma with hoppy, honeyish, and bready hints. Alcohol is detectable. Robust malty/hoppy taste that is slightly misbalanced. Strong alcohol and sweet notes. Ends with a warm and grainy aftertaste. Not too bad, but far from being a top-notch Bock.
