Bottle from a trade, shared with Elie, nutjes & co. Dark brown colour, beige foam. Very fruity nose of tart cherries along with dark chocolate, cocoa, wood, vanilla. Reminds me a lot of Black Forest Cake. Very nice!

75cl-fles op tasting bij Elie. Merci!

Bottle. Murky dark brown pour, finger of fairly fizzy beige head. Good retention and fair amount of spotty lacing. Rich aroma, dark chocolate, cherry, wood, vanilla. Fairly sweet taste, light touch of tart cherry and mild bitter finish, real transition throughout. Full round body. Excellent.

Bottle, shared with phantomhennes, Shea, and TvM at game night. Moderately dark brown, ruby highlights, lively tan head. Nice bready dark malts with tart cherry flavour, quite vinous, with Brett and lacto conveying a nice depth of complexity, and moderate sourness. Excellent.

Bottle @ Moving day tasting. Providers bias. Pours weak blackish with a fizzy head. Notes of weak cherries, coca cola, tannins, fizzy and some roast. A bit over carbonated.

Bottle thanks to Bursprak. Pours dark brown with a beige head. Aroma of cow shit, stable, dark cherries, leather, ammoniac, sulfur, balsamic, vinegar and nail polish. The taste has lots of carbonation first of all. And with taste-notes of sulfur, vinegar, balsamic, dusty cellar, cherries, bitternes, nail polish and slight medicine. A bit too heavy and intense to really be enjoyed. But still alright.
