typical wheat beer pour, golden yellow, and cloudy. Nice big fluffy head. Nice aroma of bananas, cloves, caramel, and some notes of apple. Flavour is more banana, its very typical of a hefeweizen, but you can tell the 10% is there. It’s strong, but enjoyable. A nice beer, the 750ml was a little much, but a very nice sipper.

I was fortunate enough to get a bottle of the 2008 limited edition from a friend in Quebec. Poured a nice cloudy orange color with a good long lasting white head. Aroma was some Belgian undertones with a good wheat kick hiding within. Strangely enough, the first thing I though of on the aroma was fish, but not in an unpleasant way. The flavor profile on this was nearly impossible to pin down. I had hints of citrus, a little bit of clove, almost no banana/bubblegum at all, and as it warmed, the flavor I seemed to pick up most was like the smell of the smoke from a really nice Cuban cigar. This was was all over the map, but none of its flavors were unenjoyable. Very interesting and tasty beer.

750ml bottle shared courtesy of TomDecapolis (thanks!). 2008 Vintage. Poured a medium and slightly hazy golden color with an averaged sized white head. Aromas of wheat, citrus, and reminded me of a orange creamsicle. Tastes of that same orange creamsicle, wheat, and light spices. Light alcohol in the finish.

Poured a clear, dark golden color with a medium sized, white head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of floral hops, light banana, wheat, some citrus, toast, and a bit of nuts. Taste of citrus fruits, light spices, toffee malts, light pine, bitter hops, and a bit of alcohol in the finish.

12oz with lower abv at In Good Company in Rockland Maine. Pours dark copper with an off white head. Nose is light, not much. Taste is sweet and bright and overall quite flavorful, this is a great big wheat.
