This poured well into my 50cl glass and appeared to develop a nice head I would expect from a weizen ale. While the aroma of caramel invited the first taste, I got the sense of liquor with bananas. It was okay to drink overall.

Oct 31, 2008 Bottle. Lightly sweet aroma, predominately malt with wispy coriander and lemon creme and banana, touch of bubblegum and too much alcohol. Cloudy golden pour with a gleaming white head. Taste is saccharine with a flashy of grainy dryness, wheat malt with muddled spices and alcohol. Medium body edging toward full with the booze-girth. I think I’d pass the next time.

Oct 30, 2008 Cloudy golden pour. One finger head. Typical banana/closve aroma. Sweet flavor of ripened banana and bubblegum. A bit sweet for my taste.

Oct 29, 2008 (750ml bottle, 2008 vintage) Pours a cloudy golden orange body with a medium-sized off-white head. Aroma of orange peel, mustiness, leather, and clove. Flavor of orange peel, wheat, banana, and clove with a dry finish.

Oct 26, 2008 Bottle thanks to Bu11zeye. Pours a cloudy yellow with nice white head. Aroma of fruits and hints of brett and clove. Flavor is malty, fruity, with signs of clove, pepper, with a nice alcohol spice. Mouthfeel is light-med. with high carbonation. Over all, I really liked this stuff!

Oct 19, 2008 2008 bottle thanks to bu11zeye. murky gold pour with no real head. very interesting scent of clove and spices. easy on the palate with a huge clove flavor and a slight alcohol finish.
