750ml corked bottle pours a golden orange color with a huge white head that settles to some thin lacing on the glass. Aroma is caramel and dark fruit with hints of yeast. Taste is caramel malty sweetness with a hint of fruits and yeast and a mild hoppy bitterness. Medium to heavy body with some really nice carbonation. This is a great tasting ale and is recommended to try.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 Kinz (2967) - Glen Allen, Virginia, USA - JUL 17, 2011
Richmond Gathering, one of the more interesting ones we ran across during the tasting, liked it a lot. Medium to dark amber. Light caramel aroma. Flavor is more interesting, rich caramel, but also a wheat note, and some slight, undefined fruit that hints at tangerine. Touch of vanilla on the finish. Very nice.

Hazy purply amber hue. For what it is, I think it’s well done. Sweet, and honey, and lavendar, and wheat. Kinda like a tripple, but very mellowed. Caramel, and wheat. Surpsingly well done.

Bottle at the double 5k tasting. Pours a hazed gold with a thin white head. Big wheat, banana, gum and candy on the nose. Big and oxidized. Sweet long oxidized notes. Toast, and a long gummy banana finish. Strange.
