750ml bottle, 2009 version with yellow label. Pours hazy golden with a small head. Head is short lived. Aroma is spicy with some wheat and fruity peaches. Lots of spices. Taste is alcoholic with lots of spices. Some wheat and fruity peaches. Overall quite spicy.

Bottle. Pours a murky orange brown with a small white head. Aroma of stale wheat and odd sugary malt. Flavor of sweet orange chewable vitamins and old malt. Probably an old bottle (although I don’t know for sure). This was pretty disgusting, but I will try to update my rating if I can get a fresher bottle. 5/3/4/3/10 [2.5/5]

Pours a orangish brown with a small white head. Aroma is orange, wheat and hop. Taste is complex and well balanced. Orange hues with wheat, yeast and hop with the bitter bite of alcohol. Very nice beer. Had the 2009 version.

Bottle:   Pale amber, orangish hued, sediment abounds, moderate fluffy white head, spotty lacing.   This one is probably a few years old as its the 8% version.   Pale breadiness, softer wheatiness, smidgen of butterscotch.   Soft sweet wheatiness on the tongue.   Time has taken its toll on this one as it seems very subdued.   Has a bit of a warming finish.   Clean, a little bready and slight cardboard on the exit.   Probably wouldn’t have aged as well had it not been an "Imperial" version.   I would think it lost some of its body, not as bubbley as I would of thought fresh.   Still entertaining, still fairly tasty, but can tell its over the hill.   Surprisingly as it warms it remains fairly clean on the exit.   Cardboard and butterscotch diminish.   Interested in trying this 10% version.

pours a golden honey color that is slightly cloudy with a medium foamy white head...dissipates quickly but returns with some agitation. aroma is funky and tart with a bit of citrus. flavor is like a poor attempt at a homebrewed belgian triple...yeasty sweetness with some boring hops. mouthfeel is kind of watery despite the syrupy sweetness. the finish is hoppy and lingering and reminds me of a belgian triple.

750ml from Bonisoir, Montreal. Surprisingly dark pour, a murky amber with moderate carbonation that tends to be swallowed up somewhat quickly. Faint citric hops in the aroma, but mostly sweet malts and booze up the wazz. Slick, somewhat creamy mouthfeel but the overall effect is sharp, boozy, and too sweet overall. Not so hot.

Aroma is spicy, clove. Pours cloudy orange-brown, high carbonation. Alcohol is too prominent, but there is some bitterness. This is an unusual beer, doesn’t taste like any weizen i’ve ever had. Don’t really know what to make of it.

Bottle. Pours a hazy golden body with a lavish white head. Wheat tones; banana and pear like esters, tart fruit, honey, hints of berry and a spicy wheat finish. Modest warming fruit comes out a bit overtly sweet.
