Sample from bottle. Pours a cloudy brown color with a medium sized brown head. The aroma has a large amount of sweet brown sugars, malts and a moderate amount of ripe dark fruit. The flavor is very similar, with brown sugars, prunes and a big sweet malt. This is rather bold in its presentation and all of the pieces don’t always agree, but on o cold winter night, this would surely do the trick.

Tasted at Seaport Beer festival. More earthy notes and has a ketchup chip aroma. Has a creamy note on the palate but taste really cereal like.

Pours a murky brown/amber colour with tan head. Really earthy on the nose (which I’m noticing seems to be a trademark with these guys) with lots of cereal grain and malt vinegar with a hickory smoke edge. Sweet and earthy on the palate with grain and a smoky edge.

Dark reddish brown colour with streaky film of head. Heavy aroma of sweet pit fruits, prune. Maltiness is made present with a warm yet smooth alcohol presence. Overall a very enjoyable beer but not my ideal Weizen.

Pour auburn with a khaki head. Aroma, cherry, dark fruit, sweet, brown sugar, spice. Taste super sweet, dark fruit, cherries, wheat, spice, clove. MF full slightly oily body decent carb. Good beer but a tad to sweet sipper/sharer.

Dark cloudy brown with a light white head. Smells of caramel malts with a hint of cherries. Toaty caramel malts make the main taste here, so not as complex as I might like. I still feel that drowning in it wouldn’t be overly bad.

I don’t understand what other reviewers are saying about tasting complex flavours. All I can taste is sugar. Very sweet wheat bock, nothing like a German wheat bock. Well maybe like a German wheat bock if you added a couple of spoons of sugar to each glass.
