Old rate: September 9, 2012; 10% abv, 750 mL bottle, tumbler, BTL: some time in 2011. Aroma of malty breads, toffee, raisins and molasses. Pours a thick, deep brown with tan health. Some light carbonation in visible. Tastes of sweet breads, molasses followed by a blend of spice and sweet booze. Smooth mouthfeel, luxurious even. The light carbonation cuts through nicely. Goes down with the boozy bite. Great blend of flavours but a bit too sweet. Cloying almost. Still good.

Bottle 2014 from Saveur-Biere.com - Color: deep opaque brown beer with no carbonation and small white foam. Smell: caramel malt domination. Really sweet nose. Superb wheat nose with bread presence. Caramel finish. Taste: full body with a great malt taste. Very impressive beer. Good attenuation and easy drinkable. Very nice caramel and small toffee notes. Candied notes. Very intensive taste. Aftertaste: caramel and wheat caramel finish. Sweet notes. Candied notes. Small but really small alcohol finish. Very superb beer ! Highly recommended by my self!

bottle @ Party Source / Bellevue KY --- Clear brown color, thin white head cover, lace spots. Taste is caramel malt that adds dark fruit and molasses as it moves through a syrupy mildly carbonated swallow. From there it’s all alcohol and caramel to a medium finish. At first, I thought this was overpowering and nearly undrinkable. It is still overpowering, but it gets a little better as I drink more. For sure not a weizenbock.

750ml bottle @ jookos, thanks! Mahogany color, clear, thin off white head. Boozy on the nose, malt, plums. Banana puree, booze, oak, sweetness. This is no weizen bock. Very boozy stuff.

Bottle. Deep amber, brownish, clear. Oaky, somewhat murky nose, like old wood, dry old leathery fruityness. Med full bodied, quite clean, surpringly after the murky nose. Sweetness, bit cognacy aged. Cant find much weizenbock here, but a sweet, slight boozy oaky drink.

750ml bottle. Cloudy mahogany with a thin foamy off-white head. Flavors are ripe bananas, cranberries, mint, caramel, chocolate, bread and alcohol with herbal, medicinal and nutty notes. Full body, soft carbonation, syrupy texture.

750ml bottle shared with brother. Aroma: banana, sugar candied fruits, alcool. App: hazy brown, minimal white head. Taste and palate: full body, medium carbonation, medium to high sweetness, sweet long finish. Overall: too sweet for a Weizen bock, at least top sweet for me. Quite heavy too. Wish I drank it while it was winter, really warming.

---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
