3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft at Ei8ht Ball, served in a taster. Pours a cloudy light gold with a small white head that settles into a film and uneven ring. Notes of lemon, salt, sourdough, paper, lime, and hay. Light-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a dry mouthfeel. Nice and easy. Not a whole lot to it.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Tallahassee, Fl - Quick N Save - 11.5 oz bottle. Slightly hazy,light-orange/dark golden pour, quickly fading white head. Sour aroma, hints of lemon and sour candy. Flavor has a nice sour profile, with some lemon accents, a brief touch of Lemonheads candy and grapefruit sourness, some saltiness in the back end. Not as puckery as I like my Goses to be. Mouthfeel has a decent thickness to it.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle @ home. A hazed orange pour with a white head. Smells like fruity pebbles, lime zest, and a bunch of salt water. Kind of a berry and melon note to it as well. The flavor is a little on the sweet side. A lot of candied citrus zest. Plenty of lime. Some salt water, melon, and bready malts. Candy/cereal sweetness, too. The mouthfeel is a little watery.

Draft to taster at Ei8ht Ball. Looks solid; a transparent lighter gold with white lacing. Smells semi-tart, citrusy, and salty with a touch of biscuit as well. Mouthfeel is medium light-bodied. A solid example of the style.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
4oz on tap at Ei8ht Ball. Completely hazy golden orange color. Thin ring of white head. Leaves a decent, sort of loose ridge of lace. Medium-plus body. Kind of slick texture. Light, kind of crisp carbonation. Bright, kind of orange citrusy aroma, good amount of salt, mild coriander. Kind of lighter sweet, good mild tang, mild-plus sourness, pretty nice. Good, tasty gose.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
375ml bottle. Pours a hazy cloudy pale yellow with a small white head that disappeared quickly. On the nose light peach, mineral notes, underripe plum, wet concrete Belgian yeast notes, with quite a bit white grapefruit juice. Now, the taste. Starts with acidic white grapefruit, yeast, black pepper, up front that salt stays hidden. THEN, into some malt, and then the salt opens up and ventures into a strange saltine cracker taste that kind of dominates over the acidity, but then settles down into a pleasant lemon juice note. I know it’s supposed to be salty. I know. I just don’t like it. Salt + yeast = crackers. I like everything else that’s going on, but I’m going to have to chalk this one up as a style I’m just not a fan of.
