Impression salée majeure dès le départ. C’est doux et surette à la fois, avec un goût de citron confit qui demeure longtemps. Peu effervescent, bien maîtrisé; je ne suis toutefois pas un fan ;(

Very interesting smell, sweet malt, coriander, belgian yeast, spice and a bit of funk. Hazy yellow with somewhat long lasting white head. Nicely balanced, upfront slightly sweet, finishes with more of a saline, sour and spicy quality. Quite refreshing, but not really to my taste -- would have preferred less salt and more funk, but that’s just my bias. Light bodied and average carbonation.

Sans amertume, elle est orangé et non filtré et bien gazifié. Elle n’est pas très sûre, juste assez. Bonne froide, très froide.

Pours a cloudy tangerine with a clear white one finger cap that fades quicker than my interest in current events in July. This is a strange brew: starts off almost like a Weiss, but that’s a fake out that is quickly replaced with a moderate tartness. The salt water is subtle but comes into action as the glass lowers. An odd duck. I offer Dieter a sip & he grimaces & asks why would you want a sour beer? Oh dad, there’s more to life than pilsner & lager.

Bottle from the LCBO. Hazy pale yellow with a one finger white head that fades slowly and leaves some lace. Very faint aromas of salt, yeast, grains, citrus and coriander. Light sour lemon taste with a definite saltiness, but not intrusive. Medium mouth with soft carbonation and a long light salty and sour finish. Interesting but not something I would drink on a regular basis.

Aroma of coriander, lactic sourness. You can sense the salt right away in how it changes the beer, but it is only very mildly salty. Balanced well with sour and maltiness.

De color amarillo pálido, con ligera espuma blanca que desaparece rápidamente. Aromas a limón y cilantro. Poco cuerpo, y bien carbonatada. Entra un poco ácida, alimonada y con final ligeramente salado. Muy refrescante.

375 ml bottle from the LCBO. Poured a whitish cloudy yellow into a chilled tulip glass. Produced a thin white head made up of small bubbles, which dissipated quickly. Smells fruity and yeasty. Banana, peaches, plums, lime, sour/funk. Taste is the same with a sour and salty finish. Crisp, clean, refreshing, dry, mild and balanced. My first gose and I am a fan.

Sour aroma of citrus, lactic acid. Pale straw colour, indistinctive sour taste with a sour palate.
