On tap at Vices&Versa, hazy golden hue, with a tiny white head of ring, faint funky lactose yeast, salty nose, with a lemon juicy sourness, mineral, wheat, pale, oat malt tart note, and a light yogurt acidic accent in the aroma follows through on a light-bodied palate with a nice light salty, zesty, spritzy grapefruit acidic, mild loctobacillus, funky yeasty, yogurt-ish character, with a lemon juicy sour, light wheat, oat, pale sour maltiness flavour, and a faint corainder seed, mineral underone, leading towards a watery, soft spitzy, lemon juice acidic, sour wheat maltiness, salty lactic finish.

UPDATED: MAY 14, 2013 (version bouteille): Clairement un joyau estival, bien acidulée, limette et citron, le côté salin est bien dosé. Formidable. (en fût): Un peu linéaire du côté des saveurs avec un corps aqueux. Elle se boit facilement mais manque un peu de panache malgré son profil surette très prononcé, spécialement en entrée de bouche.

My Bottom Line :
A dash of salt leaks onto this Gose’s sour finish, as lacto funk and low carbonation contribute to the sensation of otherworldliness.

Further Personal Perceptions :
-.A ring of foam circles the hazy amber.
-This is supremely drinkable, when you are used to the acidic character of the style, that is.
-The flavor profile is quite reminiscent of traditional Goses, save for the acidity which might be a tad higher.
-Salt doesn’t appear too prominently in the flavor profile, which is fine by me.

A hazed golden amber gose with a thin off white head. In aroma, an intense lactic malt with light funk, a bit musty. In mouth, a ligthly buttery and lactic beer with coriander, epsom salts, very nice. On tap at Bieres et Saveurs 2012, Sept 1 2012.

Drank at La Fête Bières & Saveurs de Chambly 2012, on September 2. Hazy golden yellow, no head. Aroma of coriander and green herbs. sour Wheat taste but mild, a little grass, dry aftertaste. A sour beer for beginners!

Comme une limonade sans sucre! Bu au festival de Chambly, pas de mousse, goût sur, un peu salé, acide, coriandre, rafraïchissante

En fût au Bières et Saveurs de Chambly. Couleur ambrée trouble, presque opaque, absence de mousse. Arôme de paille humide, sûre, avec une petit quelque chose rappellant la ferme. Goût de coriandre, de crème sûre, plutôt salé. Carbonation faible, rafraîchissante.

Sample on tap at Bières et saveurs (Chambly). Pours dark amber. Aroma is salyt and malty. Taste is well balanced. Interesting to taste a salty beer.
