I had reservations about this beer, due to its low ABV. Man was I wrong, never have I tasted quite a brew. Poured an unfiltered dark straw with no head. Aroma was of apple, basement, citrus, and coriander. Tasted of salty, sour lemons and apple. Had a medium body with a nice tart, sour tinglyness on the tongue. Was also fizzy with a dry sweetness near the end. My first Gose and it didn’t let me down.

7 3 9 3 19 4.1

Bottle from the LCBO. Hazy straw-gold with a prodigious bright white head. Aroma of lemon and gooseberry, cracked wheat, a bit of salt. Body is soft and crisp, great refresher. Flavour is somehow bright and fusty at the same time, with ripples of fresh lemon balanced by an earthy saltiness and a bit of peppery yeast. Finish is suitably dry and tart, inspiring the swigs and swallows to proceed in a rapid succession. May not be for everyone, but for me, it’s a first rate beer that I’ve been drinking a lot of this summer.

Bottle - Salty lime. Cloudy yellow with a thin head. Lemon, lime salt and a bit of sourness. Absurdly refreshing and clean finish. Great.

Where and how: LCBO, bottle 355 ml
Aroma gooseberry, white currant with soft oat cover. Gentle citrus with touch of peach.
Appearance :
Top: light minimal short lived.
Base: hazy golden.
Palate : higher carbonation but with fine beading, medium lighter body, light silkiness.
Taste: Just right balance of tartness with malty side. Gentle hop only noted on edges. Play of tartness with its texture is superb.
Other notes lovely.

What’s good for the Gose is good for this Gander. I gulped this great Gose greedily! Hazy dark straw it be, no head to be spoken of. An aroma I have not whiffed the like of in my time; apple, honey, wheat, white wine and light dank. I have had Sours before but never a Gose, the saltiness is a welcome addition to the sour, sweet, citrus, caramel and spicy flavour going on. I can only describe the mouthfeel as very fizzy salt water. A great new beer for me!

375 ml bottle. Pours a very foggy, orangeish-brownish golde with a short-lasting white head. Aroma is salty, coriander, herbal. Flavor is lemon, coriander, salt, lime juice, wheat malt, tropical fruits. Finish is lemon-lime, tart. Lingering salt and lime. Medium body, prickly, almost "coating" mouthfeel. Medium to strong carbonation. Felt like the ideal thirst-quenching Summer ale to me.

Aroma of coriander, lactic sourness. You can sense the salt right away in how it changes the beer, but it is only very mildly salty. Balanced well with sour and maltiness.
