A dark brown ale with a thin big bubbled mocha head. in aroma, sweet vanilla fudge and caramel, light butterscotch, nice. In mouth, a strange grassy dark chocolate, powdery, light pepper and licorice. Cask at Cask Days 2012.

Rating from memory from Cask Days. Pours a very dark brown, very small beige head. Aroma: More like a standard brown ale, not much pu-erh in the smell, but faint hints. Slightly muddy and nutty. Palate: medium bodied, fizzy, smooth. Taste: sweet. Complexity comes out in the taste: dirty, muddy, slightly nutty. Can especially taste the pu-erh in the long, pleasant aftertaste.
