MartinT (4458), Montreal, Quebec, Canada Jun 3, 2005 The Lure:
Light grain and minute cloves wander amidst the citrus bread. Simple, well-made, but nothing outstanding so far.

The Festivities:
A creamy mouthfeel showcases more cloves than the aroma. Banana sweetness and meek citrus fruit colour the bready suggestions. A good beer without any flaws, but this style can’t score well though on hedonistic levels. A fine beach beer.
Transcendence:
A pleasant way to cure a sun burn. muzzlehatch (4429), Burlington, USA Jun 22, 2005 Sample at the Mondial. Light blonde, with no head and little visible carbonation...sour banana, a bit of vanilla in the aromatic nose which turns rather sweeter as time flies...sour, dry and somewhat thin with litlte fruity esteriness in the body...so little to say, it’s got a bit more body and flavor than tonic water but is just very, very dull. tiggmtl (4178), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada Jun 13, 2005 Bananas, cream and bubblegum in lightly metallic aroma. Clear yellow-gold with large bubbles of carbonation presenting a shy ring of white head. Lightly tart, unripe banana flavour with some pleasant wheat character. Light body with strong carbonation. Texture is a bit sticky. Sampled at Mondial de la Bière 2005. ClarkVV (3550), Allston, Massachusetts, USA Jun 13, 2005 Draught at Mondial, 6/4/05. Clear, sparkling yellow-gold with a small bit of white foam that recedes to ring, no lacing. Banana and bubblegum in the nose, well-pronounced if somewhat standard and obvious. Flavor is lightly metallic, with fruity yeast, light bananas, dry on the end, with some notes of granular white sugar as well. Sour wheat in the body, more fruits; peaches, pears, apricots. Dry and quite attenuated, but not thin. Pale malt-like graininess, some honey notes as well. Wheat-like even mouthfeel, firm carbonation. I thought this was quite good relative to style. Lubiere (3408), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada Jan 11, 2006 Anemic lightly hazed yellow beer with a big bubbled thick white head. Light bananas ans cloves in aroma, with light lemony points. In mouth, nice crisp malt, light clove notes, and definite lemon in finale. Actually quite pleasant, even if bottle is 6 months old.
