Bottle. Pours a copper-red body with a soapy white head. The aroma has some pleasant smoke and toast with a strong dose of nuts and caramel. The flavour is bready with caramel and cookie flavours. Very tasty yet the body is quite light. Well balanced and very drinkable.

Bottle... This beer rocks!... Clear, light copper lager with a mid-sized, fizzy, white head. Great retention. The aroma puts forward notes of caramel, honey, biscuit and maple. Full-bodied and chewy with tingly carbonation. Malty-sweet, fruity and minerally with remarkable balance. Malty, fruity, nicely roasted finish. A shout goes out to glouglouburp for providing the bottle!

Malt forward aroma features bready and grainy notes accented by grassy, herbal hops. Clear amber-tan coloured body is topped by a low, fine-bubbled and lasting off-white head. Flavour follows the suggestion made in the nose - malty and bready with a pleasant round sweetness that is cut short by moderate bitterness. Some apple and berry fruitiness especially in the aftertaste. Medium body with fair to moderate carbonation. Nice to see this beer improving. Shaker glass. Allowed to warm from fridge temperature. Bottle (Rahman, Jun-08).

Bottle - 750ml. Limpid amber body with low carbonation and a decent off-white foamy head. Nice and complex malty/hoppy aroma with roasty, spicy, and caramel hints. Its hoppy taste ia sharp and well balanced. It carries oaky, grainy, roasty and sweet notes. Ends with a long, dry, bittersweet finish. Very well done!

[1073-20080201] 750mL (c/o blankboy, w/ him, GregClow, jerc, mds). Aroma of yeast and grainy alcohol malt with hints of pot. Clear, orange amber body with a medium-lasting creamy off-white head. Flavour has a soft apple fruitiness together with mild grains and a bit of earth. Medium body. Nice balance.

Bouteille 750ml.
