Bottle, pours a copper ruddy tone with a white head a bit fizzy with light retention. Malty body caramel and light apple cores. A bit sweet bitter and a hint sour. Light and grainy. Average.

Pours a dark red-brown, with a minimal white head. Aromas of toasted malts and caramel Tastes of toasted malts, sweet caramels, with some nut and spice flavours in the background. Overall slightly above average but not a stand out in anyway.
2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Savvy1982 (1705) - Lethbridge, Alberta, CANADA - JUL 2, 2009
Pours a solid red-brown, with a thin and rapidly disappearing head. Some spotty lacing. Nose is nice soft rich malt, lots of toffee and some dry fruitiness. Pleasant but not mindblowing. Palate is more dry maltiness, some fruit, a scant suggestion of hops, and a sweeter finish. Overall a perfectly servicable Vienna.

341mL bottle, pours dark amber with a small head. Aroma of caramelized sugar, toffee, bready malts and light sour apple. Flavour of bready malts, caramel / toffee, candied sugar, grape and apple. Not too bad actually.

Bottle - thanks to Eyedrinkale for the trade. Pours clear reddish copper color with a small off-white head that diminished rapidly to a ring of bubbles. Aroma is smooth caramel-malty with subtle floral and earthy hops. Flavor is nice and drinkable, sweet in a robust lagerish kind of way with a good hop bite - nothing too remarkable though. Light body and pleasant carbonation.

Nice copper body topped with a thin off-white foamy head. Its malty aroma has unusually strong nutty notes. Taste is well-balanced and refreshing, but it lacks complexity. It ends with a decently bitter finish. Drinkable...
2.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 jimmack (1222) - Nutley, New Jersey, USA - MAR 22, 2005
Bottle thanks to Eyedrinkale. Clear copper color with a small white head that quickly dissipated. Malty aroma with some nice caramel notes. Unfortunately the flavor didn’t live up to the aroma. Starts off fairly nice with a good maltiness and a bit of caramel, but a strong metallic aftertaste was a let down. I’ll keep in mind that this beer is probably much better fresh and it was still enjoyable.
2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 DerWeg (1392) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 11, 2010
Clear medium red, ring white head. Not much nose. Sweet fruit and peanut. Taste sweet - acidic fruit and peanut, just kind of OK.
