2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Has a very nice big bright beige head and clear amber-gold body. Aroma is a soft hint of hops and little more. Flavour is a nice half-half mix of malt and hops; mouthfeel is a little weak though. Still, it’s all right, but not spectacular.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Sample at Vice et Versa in Montreal. Pours a good medium gold with sticky white head. Aroma is hoppy, bready malts with mild sweetness. Taste has an aggressive almost English style hopping but not lacking in bite. It is like a hybrid of an Brit IPA and an American Pale. Decent but not stunning.

... A "got deleted" rating...
In a few words... Nose is hops paradise with some roast and leather, taste is c-hops-free but hoppy otherwise with a hint of caramel and nuts, that beer is overcarbonated. This sounds like the "miss" of Les Trois Mousquetaires. Which means it’s still a pretty good brew.

TAP - nice coppery coat, fine off white head. Fine fresh lightly sweet aromas, taste nice blend of Amer style hops. Pretty fat palate but not syrupy, loads of apricot and orange and pale malt taste.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
750 mL bottle. The beer is a lovely shade of copper-orange with a shrinking but sticky beige head. The hops in the aroma are resinous, mostly, although there is definitely some grapefruit in there as well. The flavour is well crafted, with the up-front hops giving way to a simple caramel and finaly to a lingering, bitter finish. If I have a complaint, it’s that the beer becomes slightly tinny and metallic near the end, and the carbonation is a touch heavier than it needs to be. On the whole, however, this is an enjoyable beer.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
75cl bottle. Pours orange with a frothy white head. The aroma improved as the beer warmed. It started malty and earthy but as it warmed the hops started coming through. For an "American Pale Ale" this was a little disappointing as I expected more hops. The taste was bitter, but unbalanced with the aroma. Over all...mmhe. It was ok, but for an American Pale Ale, it does not live up.
