Very nice american pale ale, hoppy enough to be an IPA but very well balanced. Maybe not a beer for hopheads but still more satisfying than a lot of IPAs. A decent bodied malt with a very pleasant hop bitterness that maintains a nice balance between malt and hops.

Has a very nice big bright beige head and clear amber-gold body. Aroma is a soft hint of hops and little more. Flavour is a nice half-half mix of malt and hops; mouthfeel is a little weak though. Still, it’s all right, but not spectacular.

750 ml bottle from metro collin chambly. clear copper minimal white head. Med carbonation. A: Citrusy a bit herbacy, caramel, a touch of biscuit mix with roastiness. F: Body is med to thin finish is bitter and medium long. O: It’s not a in your face pale ale more an easy to drink. Good.

Sample at Vice et Versa in Montreal. Pours a good medium gold with sticky white head. Aroma is hoppy, bready malts with mild sweetness. Taste has an aggressive almost English style hopping but not lacking in bite. It is like a hybrid of an Brit IPA and an American Pale. Decent but not stunning.

... A "got deleted" rating... In a few words... Nose is hops paradise with some roast and leather, taste is c-hops-free but hoppy otherwise with a hint of caramel and nuts, that beer is overcarbonated. This sounds like the "miss" of Les Trois Mousquetaires. Which means it’s still a pretty good brew.

TAP - nice coppery coat, fine off white head. Fine fresh lightly sweet aromas, taste nice blend of Amer style hops. Pretty fat palate but not syrupy, loads of apricot and orange and pale malt taste.

UPDATED: MAY 29, 2014 Bouteille 750 ml. 5%.

750 mL bottle. The beer is a lovely shade of copper-orange with a shrinking but sticky beige head. The hops in the aroma are resinous, mostly, although there is definitely some grapefruit in there as well. The flavour is well crafted, with the up-front hops giving way to a simple caramel and finaly to a lingering, bitter finish. If I have a complaint, it’s that the beer becomes slightly tinny and metallic near the end, and the carbonation is a touch heavier than it needs to be. On the whole, however, this is an enjoyable beer.
