Golden/orange/copper body. Nice thick head with good lace. Tastes very true to the style with a firm bitter hop profile to it and a crisp malt backing. I was afraid it would taste too sour and Belgian-like but instead I was very pleasantly surprised by this brew.

Amber golden pour. The nose is lightly hoppy and orangey with a touch of soft sweetness. Light toffeeish malt character along with a little bit of orange hop flavour. Light bitterness and a fairly watery palate. It might have a bit of age on it - but it definitely needs more oomph. Meh.

750 ml bottle shared by Tmoney99. Pours a clear amber color with a small off white head. The aroma is quite sweet; caramel and candi sugar with mild fruits. The flavor is much more grassy and herbal than the nose would indicate. Light sweetness, light caramel, alfalfa, light citrus and pale malt. This is decent, but nothing stands out.

Bottle, as Américaine. Cloudy amber with a large off white head. Citrus aroma with some peach and pine. Quite sweet with fruity, cereal and light toasted malts, reserved citrus and some pine. Less clean malt side than a US version - not itself a bad thing. Quite bitter finish. No date, but perhaps not the freshest bottle - I’d guess a bit of toppy zing to the citrus is missing. Still pretty good.

Bottle caged and corked with the name Americaine. Poured a clear copper color with a large frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate to heavy grass hop, yeast and malt aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium yeasty bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. I would recommend this to a freind.

750 ml bottle. Pours copper in colour, moderate caramel coloured head. Aroma and taste are a moderately styled american hop and caramel malt. Good example of the style.

Sous un timide col beige, une belle bière acajou limpide. Col frêle. Des arômes d’herbe, de caoutchouc, mais aussi de grenier poussiéreux. Onctueuse à effervescence moyenne avec une fin relativement amère.

Very nice american pale ale, hoppy enough to be an IPA but very well balanced. Maybe not a beer for hopheads but still more satisfying than a lot of IPAs. A decent bodied malt with a very pleasant hop bitterness that maintains a nice balance between malt and hops.

Has a very nice big bright beige head and clear amber-gold body. Aroma is a soft hint of hops and little more. Flavour is a nice half-half mix of malt and hops; mouthfeel is a little weak though. Still, it’s all right, but not spectacular.
