Commercial Description:
This Franconian-style Kellerbier, "cellar beer", is an unfiltered Pilsner marrying the richness of Quebec barley to the smoothness of German hops. It is the ideal aperitif.

Editor’s note: This Kellerbier is a slight reformulation of their 2008 Oktoberfest Blonde.

Hazy golden pour with a thick white head. The nose is lightly crackery and a bit sweet with a distinct autolyzed yeast component. A little bit of honey and some crackery base malt as well. Meh, this seems to have been good once, but it’s well past it’s prime.

grassy aroma. Pours a cloudy brown-gold, high carbonation, big foamy head. Light, sweet flavour. Grassy, with drying bitter finish. Refreshing.

750 ml corked and caged bottle poured a hazy golden amber with a lasting ivory head. Aromas of bread, light fruittiness, light earthiness and a hint of spice. Palate was light bodied and crisp. Flavors of straw, fruittiness, light spice and light yeast with a crisp fruity finish.

750ml bottle from K&L Redwood City, enjoyed with a dinner of käsespätzle cooked by an actual German person (hell yeah!). Poured into Bruery tulip - clear golden-straw with a large, frothy white head. Aroma is pale malt, grain, floral and grassy hops, yeast, and a little pepper. Flavor is floral, grassy, herbal, peppery, and yeasty with bready pale malt and some grain. This beer comes off as really unfiltered and rough, in a good way. I like it. Palate is crisp with medium-light body and some prickly carbonation. Very nice for the style.

Pours clear and golden with a prominent white head, which soon thins down to yield some nice lacing around the glass. Aroma is slightly floral and resinous with a bit of grainy undertone. Tastes much like it smells; nice and crisp lager base accentuated with a smooth carbonation level. Finishes with a touch of bitterness of on the tongue. Nicely done, another worthy addition to Les Trois Mousquetaire’s already impressive selection.

Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. The beer is golden in color with a white head. The smell is fruits, light spices, some grains, and hops. The taste is weeds, grains, light bitterness, and ok.

( 750ml bottle thanks to bu11zeye) Pours clear yellow with nice fluffy white head. Nose is piney hops, lightly sour as well. Taste is bitter lager style hops, oily body with an off-putting linger that is buttery.
