750 c&c from Wine & Cheese in Clayton, MO. Pours dark brown with a foamy tan head. The aroma is quite smokey. Med body. Sharpish carbonation. Flavor is smoke over something like very light citrus and some firm dark malt. Almost chocolate. Smoked chocolate? Maybe not.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Poured clear dark brown color with an average frothy off-white head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Moderate smoke malty and yeast aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium complex sweet smoke flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. My expectation where met.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle… Dark brown, almost black beer with a mid-sized, wispy, tan head. Great retention. Chocolate, campfire smoke and smoked meat are the true olfactory standouts. Full-bodied and very creamy with tingly carbonation. The flavor is all about caramel, chocolate and smoky goodness – malty sweetness; adequate bitterness. Finishes smoky and a touch bitter. Nice smoked porter.
