3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
750 ml bottle, 2012 edition. Pours a hazy orange brown amber with a thick, long-lasting beige-orange head. Smells like grains and caramel. Extremely malty taste. Dry caramel, cereals, biscuits, toffee. More bitter than I was expecting, herbal. Barley candy taste in the finish, too. Medium to full bodied, somewhat sticky. It was good, but I remembered last year’s version being lighter, more accessible and, I’d say, somewhat better tasting...oh well, still pretty good, though!

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Very tasty Oktoberfest beer with a strong roasted malt taste and some spicy notes. Low on alcohol but big on taste. Rating it from the bottle but also tried it on tap at the Oktoberfest des Quebecois for which it was brewed.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Wow, really surprised at how much I like this one. Pours a very hazy dark amber with a small head that just leaves a white bubble layer on top. Very grainy, somewhat biscuit malty, but it leaves nice hop bitterness behind. Medium carbonation. Really nice!

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours reddish. Hazy. Fastest disappearing head ever. Aroma is somewhat biscuity and slightly hoppy. Hops are actually quite distinguishable in this one. Otherwise, some notes of caramel and apple. A bit overcarbonated. Solid offering... Terrific offering by a sunny, october day!
