The white wine flavor is omnipresent, you can barely taste the apples. What really bugged me was the aftertaste, which reminded me of cooked eggs or mayonnaise. Too light for my taste, but for an inexpensive cider, good for cooking.

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 11, 2006 Small sample from the bottle (750 ml) at the Mondial de la Bière in Montreal, 2006. Very pale white/yellow with faint quick-fading legs in the glass....light oaky-fruity-sweet aroma, a touch of white wine....faintly spicy aroma, a brief whiff of cinnamon and then its on to a rather boring, sweet-tart apple front and a dryish, mineral-laden finish....on the thin side. | 1.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 1/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/20 | Apr 1, 2006 Anemic yellow cider, lacklustre.Chemicla bilous aroma with light apples peering though. In mouth, dilute boring cider with no character, watery and plain. At Salon des Vins et Spiritueux de Montréal, March 25 2006. Rastacouere (5566), Montréal, Quebec, Canada
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 6, 2005 Clear pale yellow, still. Very light nose, somehow mineralized, woody apple blossom. Deeper in mouth I find, it’s interestingly vinous, though not so dry that it couldn’t pair a dessert nicely, it reminds me of a Domaine Tariquet or the likes. Good balanced sweetness, light-medium bodied. You could easily do worse as the house basic cider. tiggmtl (4312), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 12, 2004 Updated: Nov 8, 2005Dry white wine aroma with very little apple character apparent. Very clear, pale pear coloured and quite still. Apples noticeable far more in the aftertaste than up front. Very dry - puckering mouthfeel. Bottle (sampled at Mondial 2004). Resampled Nov-05 and bumped up the score - this could replace wine with a meal nicely. Less dry than last years edition... CapFlu (3494), Victoria, British Columbia, Canada
