Made by Ecaussinnes – not a bit surprise there. 33 cl. bottle @ DHL. Thx! Bright golden with a big fluffy head. Nose is big floral like a bouquet, roses, not in a super way, floral, esters, light soap, sweet BE yeast & for the first time I got actually perfume as a tasting note, lots of it, lightly fruity. Taste is indeed, perfume, roses, bouquets, flowers, sweet honey, light pepper, very sweet white grains, odd, too much & not super enjoyable, also some white bread. Very fluffy body.

(bottle) pours a hazy golden colour with a frothy off-white head. aroma of pineapple, powdered sugar and alcohol, with a hint of caramel. flavour is cloyingly sweet and sugary, with notes of cardboard and raisins. heavy-bodied with average carbonation.

Bottle. Golden, hazy, average and fully diminishing head. Moderate, malty and sugary sweetish aroma, some caramel and lots of floral fruitiness, light alcohol. Body is medium, malty and sugary sweetish flavor, caramel and lots of floral fruitiness, light alcohol. Finish is average, malty and sugary sweetish, some caramel, floral fruitiness and light alcohol. Sugary sweetish strong ale with huge amounts of floral (and somehow artificial) fruitiness - not very enjoyable.

HAzy orange body, white head. Aroma has sweet malt, raisins, roses?. This delivers what is promised. Nice. Flavour reminds Finnish mead. I really liked this one, even though it is quite strange.

Geruch süß, würzig, stark parfümiert, floral. Startet sehr süß. Mitte parfümiert, blumig. Abgang prickelnd süß, erinnert an Seifenduft, Parfüm. Ein merkwürdiges Bier, das aber zu gefallen weiß durch die eigene Note.

Purchased at de Bier Tempel in Brussels, Belgium; enjoyed at home in Chicago prior to seeing Quicksand. When I opened this, carbonation almost popped the cap, so I’m pretty happy this didn’t explode in my luggage on my way back to the states. Appearance is a very cloudy bright gold with an extremely rich, puffy white head...kinda looks like a mimosa. Aroma of rose pedals, someone mentioned "cheap perfume" and I agree, as well as a touch of sourness and Belgian yeast. Taste is not particularly good in my opinion, definitely flowery but the carbonation is just too much for me and I think this is going to give me a ripping headache. Oh well.

33cl bottle, bought in durby belgium, clear golden colour, medium foamy white head, sweet candy flower and some sour hints, very sweet like cherries and a medium carbonation, refreshing and the only hint you get of the 9% is after you swallow it, it warms the trought

UPDATED: JAN 9, 2012 31/12/2011 33cl bottle @ De Heeren van Liedekercke - BB: on cap, we didn’t see the cap though. (2011-750)

Note: my last (new) beer of 2011! Served with the dessert around 23h45. ;-) A big thanks to the people from De Heeren for a wonderful end of the year food and beer experience!

Little cloudy blond beer, big aery white head, unstable, adhesive. Aroma: very fruity, floral of course and a bit soapy. No surprise there I guess. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: very sweet, bit fruity, candi, bubble gum, sugary. Aftertaste: sugary, more candy, some citrus, soapy, bit bitter. Bleh.

330ml bottle from a local grocery store. Low, white head, cloudy, orange coloured body. Perfumed aroma and taste of berries and roses. Rather sweet. Foamy in the mouth. Possible to drink (hotel room in Brugge, 02.05.2011).
