COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Leute Bok ale is a dark red heavy beer, top fermented and refermented in the bottle. The aroma and taste is unique and striking, not too sweet, but full and smooth on the tongue.

UPDATED: FEB 17, 2014 Tap at Staminee de Garre. Nice stemless glass. Opaque redbrown, nice tan head, nice lacing; sweet malty nose, caramel, brown sugar, raisins, roasted, herbs; medium sweet, lightly bitter, hint of coffee; creamy texture, medium to full body; sweetbitter finish, roastiness remains. Not your typical bok but a good beer.

As you would expect from a belgian strong ale, sweet with some raisin aromas. Not really my cup of tea.

Pours a dark brown with a decent amount of off-white head. Smells of dark fruits, caramel, and brown sugar. Tastes sweet. Follows the aroma with cariamas brown sugar, and dark fruits. The taste is sweeter than the aroma.

2014/01/09 - Pours a brown amber colour with a creamy, khaki coloured head that slowly reduces to a surface film and leaves minimal lacing. Aroma is dough, Belgian yeast, caramel, dark fruits and molasses. Taste is similar to nose, but somewhat muted. Toasted caramel, molasses, prunes and dough. Mouthfeel is medium with smooth carbonation and a drying, slightly bitter and sweet aftertaste. Finish is mildly boozy and warming as well. Sweet without being cloying and nicely balanced with hops. Not bad. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Hazy Brown brew that has the aroma of berries and bread. Taste is berries with sorta hazelnut and a slight alcohol twang. Sweet but not too sweet. Very good brew but for the price this one is only for the holiday season.

Bottle. Yeast, light roast malt, brown sugar aromas. Light translucent brown. Mild dark fruit initial / a slight oxidized note and light sugar in mid / finish is somewhat sweet and dull. Medium body. Okay. Flavors don’t emerge much. All understated.

Traditional Belgian malt aroma with fruity notes. Dark Brown opaque in colour. 1/2 finger of off white rocky head. Very lively carbonation. Hoppy finish.
