COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Leute Bok ale is a dark red heavy beer, top fermented and refermented in the bottle. The aroma and taste is unique and striking, not too sweet, but full and smooth on the tongue.

40cl bottle at café de brasserie in Emmen. Pours a dark brown reddish colour with a frothy white head that leaves lacing. Aroma’s of dark fruits, caramel, licorice and some malts. Taste has a light sweetness with a slight sourness with notes of dark fruits, malts and caramel. Textire is a bit watery with average carbonation.

Bottle from de Bierschuur in Poppel. The beer is dark red colored and pours a large and stable cream colored head, with livingly CO2. The aroma is a nice palate of dark fruits, caramel and licorice, and in the background some roasted malts. The taste is light sweet, soft and full bodied with a nice hop bitterness with tones of roasted malts and some licorice. The finish is light bitter and warming with a hint of alcohol.

Marrón oscura. Espuma beige. Aroma tostado, alguna nota de anís y de café. Cuerpo moderado / ligero. Gas escaso. Ligera de paso en boca. Muy malteada, tostada, ahumada. El lúpulo aporta notas terrosas. Alcohol bien disimulado.

Gott!

UPDATED: NOV 7, 2015 OK, men noget ordinær belgisk strong ale. Tilpas sød i smagen. Flot og indbydende farve

0,33l from bottle at känguruh pub vienna, shared by a friend. Brown hazy color, small off-white head. Smells roasted, light liqueur, fruits, raisins. Full body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. Tastes of spices, very light roast, citric, light acidic, some sweetness, honey, plums. Finishes with sweetness & plums. Decent, overall taste is a bit messy. 7, 4, 6, 3, 13

Bottle 0,33L. Clear, dark amber colour with average big, mostly lasting, creamy, light brown head with good lacing. Aroma of wood, moldy yeasts and pork pate. Taste starts light sweet, became slightly sour for a moment, than turns into light bitter finish, followed by some dark fruits and long lasting aftertaste. Medium body, slick texture, soft carbonation, chalky finish. Not bad, but not really typical Belgian beer.
