33 cL bottle. Pours light hazy yellow with a collapsing white head. Light yeasty and fruity aroma. Flavour is sweet, slight yeasty. Gains some caramel malt and yeast spices along the way. Finish is mellow yeasty, that creamy nice yeasty mellow flavour. Clear alcohol presence too.

Bottled. A hazy golden beer with a huge lazing fluffy white head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of wheat and yeast as well as some ginger. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of spices and yeast as well as a light alcohol touch, that tickles the tongue.

(Bottle 33 cl) Courtesy of fonefan. Hazy, pale golden with a tall and very lively, rough, white head that leaves some lacework. Sweetish, fruity nose with some alcohol. Quite full-bodied with sweetish, pale malts, fruit and diacetyl and a distinct alcohol in the finish. No bitterness. 120108

Bottle at Biest poort in Leuven. Bright copper color, clear, thin white head with lots of lacing. Aroma of whiskey and butterscotch. Flavor has butter, caramel, whiskey and a gentle smoke finish. Complex, lots of character. My favorite beer in Leuven.

Bottle, bought @ Willems, Grobbendonk. [my 50th Tripel rating]
Pours a clear orangey yellow golden with a medium creamy white head that relatively quickly ends up as a thin film. Aroma is powerful, relatively cloying sweet with lots of fruit, yeast, honey, herbs and citrus. Nice, oily mouthfeel. Flavour is powerful with a good dose of lemongrass to begin with, yeast and a general viniousness. Aftertaste is sweetish with a herbal bitterness. Special, but not bad.

33cl bottle @ home. Full sized off-white head on top of a clear orange colored beer. Smell and taste malts, sweetness, some alcohol and lightly fruits. A bit fizzy carbonation, medium body.

Draught Very dense, clotty head, cream-coloured over orange-golden beer. Sweet-alcoholic nose, but with a serious dash of citrus, fresh-smelling. Soy-oil, Thai fritters, with citrusbalsam and caramel. Lots of toasted malts, and cotton candy. Very slick, well-bodied, alcoholwarming. Not my cup of Thai-mai.
