We found out that they are no longer offering it in bottles, only kegs. It is pretty bad ass, I seen it too. mbgrayson (60), Anaconda, Montana, USA Dec 13, 2007 A nice, smooth Amber from Helena, Montana. Brewery website is at http://lewisandclarkbrewing.com/main.php
I believe this one used to be called ’Lewis & Clark Lager". presario (2497), Calgary, Alberta, Canada Aug 26, 2004 Bottle. Nice head and lacing. Deep amber. Light malty aroma. Sweet caramel flavour almost tending towards chocolate. A little bitterness and salt in the finish. Enjoyable light beer. Crosling (1704), Loveland, Colorado, USA Oct 3, 2004 Light copper.
Herbs, flowers and caramel in the nose.
I am pretty sure that this beer is a marzen style lager. Very fruity. Creamy all over the palate. Notes of flowers, cashews, caramel, clove, pollen and apple. Nice Flavor.
Lack of body and major lack of carbonation hurts the beer in more ways than one.
Still, a very nice example of the style. beerbill (1393), Laurel, New York, USA Sep 6, 2006 12 oz.bottle purchased in Yellowstone Park. Pours a slightly cloudy medium amber with a small off-white head that lasted through the entire glass. Light aroma of sweet malt. Flavor starts out light and sweet and finishes every so slightly bitter. Very easy to drink.
