Brewvival Trip Beer 5. Pours a hazy lemon yellow color with a medium sized creamy white head. Decent head retention. Aroma of sweet malts, honey, corn, bitter hops. The taste is corn, dry pale malts, mild grassy hops. Thin, slightly watery. Solid cream ale.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Beer 38 Asheville trip, surprised at how many of the Lexington brews I’m having to add here. In any case, pours a clear gold, slight head. Aroma is very, very faint, lightly of honey accented malts, and I’m perceiving corn. Flavor is a match, with no discernable hop flavor, just a balancing bitterness. Not sure if the corn note is in my head or not because it is billed as a cream ale, but I think I detect it at least. Not bad - definitely as billed.
