on tap 7/15/11.
typical color if not a little lighter.
there is a woody/card boardy thing in the nose... mixed with floral hand soap, orange and caramel.
the flavor is the same... but with some numbing herbal hops and a distinct mineral content... both of which are out of place and awkward. 6/3/6/3/13-

2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 Braudog (5025) - Hampton, Virginia, USA - OCT 9, 2011
Draft at the brewpub. This is what I’d call a "recipe beer" -- nothing technically wrong with it, but not necessarily to style and not noteworthy. This is a bit too hoppy and there isn’t enough malt. This is more of a mellow pale ale and I would doubt this is lagered. Maybe call this an Autumn Ale?
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 NC_LOCO (12) - Asheville, North Carolina, USA - AUG 31, 2011
Clear copper pour with a thin tan head. Loads of caramel with just a touch hallteau hops. Decent and this falls into the style guidelines

Draft at Lexington Avenue Brewery. Pours light brown with a thin white head. Nice clean maltiness on the nose. You definitely get the malt as soon as you pour it in your mouth. It also has a slight warming quality. Finishes really clean and crisp. Nice!
