Oct 18, 2005 Cask@St Albans Beer Festival. Copper in colour as chris o notes. Flavour is lightly sweet, with a nutty malt character. Ornage/citrus hop finish, bittersweet mouthfeel, quite pleasant.

Oct 16, 2005 Cask (gravity dispense), St Albans Beer Festival 2005. Bright copper colour. Full, earthy, hop aroma. Dry and fairly bitter, with an edge of smoky malt. Bitter finish, tending towards sour. Fairly full bodied, but crisp and fresh too. Drinks easily for a stronger bitter.
