A lax, watery beer from Poland, a little sour. No special beer. I know the brewery from the good old days, since the takeover by Heineken, the brewery has its good reputation (taste) is lost!

UPDATED: APR 3, 2011 Bouteille 500 ml. 5.5%. Couleur paille claire, mousse blanche, belle effervescence. Arômes de malt, houblon. En bouche, céréales et malt, notes de houblon mais pas trop, un peu de sucre. Bonne et se boit bien.

Slightly orange, loose white head. Grainy, toasty aroma, grainy toasty flavor. Lightly bitter, spicy flavors throughout. Not much to add, I’m afraid...

Bouteille de 500ml. Bière blonde-dorée comme le blé, mousse blanche épaisse mais fugace. Le nez est de grain, classique des lagers commerciales. En bouche la bière est rafraichissante, simple, facile, peu de malt, peu de houblon, peu de goût, quoi.

500 ml bottle from LCBO. Pours a clear golden colour with white head that quickly recedes to a very thin cap and steady thin bubbles in the beer. Aroma is grassy with some light grains. Flavour is bland grains and a crisp grassy finish. Average body and carbonation. Nothing special.

Not one of the finer beers to come out of Poland. This one is extremely pale and tastes and smells extremely cheap.

Strong starchy aroma, like hay/grass but foul, a bit. Moderate alcohol aroma at only 5.5, not a good sign. Light bitterness in flavor, watery, bready. Has a sugary lingering uncleanliness that is not so good.

February 2010 - 500ml bottle shared by garthicus with me and blankboy. Clear refractive gold with a small creamy/frothy white head. Mild aroma of grass, heather and paper - tastes similar, grassy but sweet - mild and inoffensive. Watery, weakly carbonated, with a sweetish grassy linger. Ehh - okay on a hot day, I suppose, but nothing I would buy.
